My daughters in love with a senior?

My daughter is a freshmen and her boyfriend is a senior. He is the nicest guy, and so cute! I just dont know how to be supportive towards the age difference? I love their relationship but I don't want my daughter to get hurt because it probably won't last...he'll go off to collage and she'll finish high school. How do I explain this to my daughter?
