Why is my mom so un-supportive?

Ok well im a parent although mine is only 2 I can understand both sides because im still young myself (21 in july). I would suggest letting things roll off your back. When your 18 thats it, I walked out of my parents house 2 days after I turned 18 and into my own apartment. I went to college without their help and now im a chef at a nice restaurant in lexington kentucky. Save as much money as possible in the next 3 years and dont tell her what you plan to do. Working is the key and education really helps. Learn as much as you can and go to college. When she yells dont yell back just say ok, its tough at first but she will stop if you just agree with her. Whos gonna yell at someone who is agreeing with them?
