Questions about a Bone Contusion?

I had a MRI and it showed fine Bone Contusions first off I no a bone contusion is a bruised bone. But what makes it fine? What is its home treatment/care? Can supportive shoes prevent future Bone Contusions, if so what specific kind? I have a syndrome the causes me to have not so perfect bones.
