Boyfriend too busy with baseball- feels like this relationship is going downhill?

My boyfriend and I are both upcoming Seniors at our high school. We've been together for 5 months and things lately just seem to be going downhill. We always fight, but we find a way to make things better after and lately we've argued about him spending time with me. We've only seen each other ONCE this summer so far and this was when he met my family. We communicate through text message and web camming, but every time I invite him to hang somewhere, he doesn't have the time to go anywhere with me because of baseball. We planned to go to the beach this Thursday, but he canceled on me because he has a game. Today he told me "What if I have a day off, but I just want to stay home and rest and not do anything?" Honestly, I thought he would want time with me on his days off because we only see each other like ONCE a week if I'm lucky this summer! I know I should be supportive of him, but once this baseball season ends, hes starting another league when school starts and that means NO MORE TIME TOGETHER. I don't know what to do. People say that if im important to him then he'll find time for me, and it seems like hes trying here and there, but we just never manage to find time. He says he loves me an that this is meant to be, an I love him too, but I don't know what to do when I can barely see him. Should i just tough it out through baseball season an be supportive or what? HELP PLEASE
